The Solution
Wunderbar partnered with Vertrex to overhaul their digital infrastructure. The Vertrex team executed a complete digital transformation:
- Data Migration: Vertrex migrated all menu data, inventory lists, and customer information from the legacy systems into Odoo, ensuring a clean start without data loss.
- Odoo Implementation: They deployed Odoo to serve as the central nervous system for the business (POS, Inventory, Accounting). The new POS allowed for complex order modifiers to flow directly to kitchen screens, eliminating handwritten tickets.
- Gusto Integration: Vertrex integrated Gusto directly with the new ecosystem, allowing automated time tracking to flow seamlessly into payroll processing.
- Automation: Automated workflows were established where daily sales data posted directly to the general ledger, reconciling cash and card transactions without human intervention.
